Biography   Ulrich Rydzewski

- 1959 born in Erkrath; father sculptor and painter
- since 1968 music-lessons (different instruments)
- since 1975 member of several bands (from jazz to experimental)
- 1980 Abitur at Kollegschule Düsseldorf
- 1984-1990 study at Robert-Schumann-Hochschule Düsseldorf: piano; audio and video engineering
- since 1986 conception and realization of short films and videos
- 1986-1987 productions as a studio musician / sound engineer for 'ATATAK Medien'
- since 1987 compositions and arrangements for short films and TV-documentations,
performances for: Etienne Szabo, Dieter Lennartz, 'Kanal 4', Axel Klepsch,
Detlef Klepsch, Ralph Gellwitzki, Andrzej Klamt and Ertan Erdogan
- 1988 launching of the production company "Merz concept" with a recording studio for musical/artistic and commercial use (together with Axel Grube)
- 1989 foundation of the band "Lantz'scher Park" with Detlef Klepsch and Axel Grube with the aim to develop new artistic possibilities of improvisation and music and video arrangements
- since 1991 sound engineer/producer for Aulos Schallplatten, Viersen among others
- 1995 foundation of the record label „ATON Recordings“ together with the concert pianist Franz-Josef Birk; since then regular productions of CDs (classic, South American music)
- since 1995 documentary films (director, camera, editing and production)
- 1995 launching of HEKTOR + RYDZEWSKI, Bild + Ton Produktion GmbH,
with two recording studios, three editing suites, multimedia suites, camera euquipment and offices
